High School Winter Camp 2025!

IT'S TIME FOR WINTER CAMP!!!!
 
Join us at Camp Geneva for a time of spiritual enrichment, community, retreat, and FUN as we jump into God’s Word and worship with other area churches and our Providence church family!

The Details:

• Dates, locations, pick-up/drop-off:
  • High School Winter Camp runs from February 21-23 at Camp Geneva on the north side of Holland. 
    • (Geneva’s address: 3995 N. Lakeshore Dr., Holland, MI 49424)
  • Due to a full weekend spent together at camp, there will be NO youth group on the Sunday night of Winter Camp (Feb. 23).
  • Drop-off/arrival will take place from 6-6:30pm on Friday night (exact location TBD after cabin assignments are made). Pick-up/departure will take place on Sunday at noon (AT your student's cabin if they are not driving themselves). Please know we do ask that parents/students provide transportation for pick-up and drop-off. Cabin assignments will be determined and communicated via email as camp approaches.
    
    
• Registration:
  • Providence is allotted a limited number of spots at winter camp. Unfortunately, we are not guaranteed additional spots at this time (though of course, we will update you if/as they become available). That being said, spots will be offered on a first come, first served basis to the students that complete the registration process (i.e. completed forms AND payment.)
  • WE ARE OFFERING ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY. Payment can be made on this form (more information on payment below).
    • Please note: T-shirts are not guaranteed for sign-ups received after Feb. 9th!
      
      
• Cost/Payment:
  • Payment for winter camp may be made electronically through this form (preferred), with cash, or with check (made out to Providence Church).
  • Cash or check may be left in my (Krista Strom's) mailbox in the church copy room or slipped under my office door (to get to my office, enter through Door H, the "Employee Entrance," and take the first right. Take another immediate right to get to my office). 
  • Cost is $135/student (t-shirt included).
    **Please keep in mind that a t-shirt is not guaranteed for sign-ups received after Feb. 9th!
  • *** If finances are the barrier between you/your student attending winter camp, please let me know (via text/call/email/conversation)! Our hope is to make this special experience accessible for as many students as possible. 
    • If this is the case, feel free to either bypass the payment section of this sign up form or make a partial payment in the amount you feel comfortable contributing and then inquire to Krista Strom.

• Required forms:
  • For you/your student’s registration to be complete AND FOR THEIR SPOT TO BE SECURED, all four required forms (attached below) must be completed and submitted electronically via the linked sign-up form, via email or returned directly to me (Krista Strom).
  • If emailing, forms can be sent to: kristas@providencechurch.net OR printed, completed and given to me directly at church, at youth group or slip under my office door (to get to my office, enter through Door H, the "Employee Entrance," and take the first right. Take another immediate right to get to my office). 
  • Required forms (attached below - please complete one of each form per student): 
    • Providence Medical Consent and Release Form (If you already have a completed Providence Medical Consent and Release Form on file, you do not need to complete another. If you are unsure if you have a completed form on file, please reach out to Krista Strom.)
    • Geneva Challenge Activity Consent Form
    • Geneva Dietary Request form (only need to complete if applicable for your student)
      
      
• Miscellaneous:
  • We ask that students DO NOT BRING PHONES/ELECTRONICS to Winter Camp. Please help us limit distractions and assist our students in fully engaging this experience. All parents/guardians have my cell phone number (616-546-1737) and I will have my phone on me all weekend if you need to reach your student or vice versa. 
  • If you hope to bring a friend, please ensure they are comfortable being away from home for the entirety of the weekend and that all of this information has been passed on to/forwarded/emailed to that person. Please also make a note when you register that this person is coming with you and you would like to be in the same cabin.
  • A spring semester calendar for middle and high school ministry is in the works!
